Help & FAQ

Help and frequently asked questions.

The questions we are asked most about credit repair, defaults and how our service works, answered honestly.

How can I improve my credit rating?

To improve your credit rating you may need to remove negative listings or black marks from your credit report. These can only be removed if an error in the listing can be identified, which our audit masters at Clear Credit Solutions specialise in.

If I pay the default or negative listing, will it be removed?

Unfortunately, paying the listing will not remove it from your credit report and does not mean you will be approved in the future. A default or black mark stays on your file for 5 to 7 years.

Why is it important that I repair my credit rating?

It is most likely the reason stopping you from getting a loan approved, and repairing it can save you thousands of dollars every year by allowing you to get loans at lower interest rates.

How does my credit report affect me?

Your credit report is checked when you apply for credit. If you have a negative listing, default or court action, you are highly likely to be declined.

What is a default?

A default, also known as an overdue account, is a type of negative listing we specialise at removing. Defaults can include credit cards, telecommunication accounts, personal loans and utility accounts.

Can credit restoration be trusted?

While not every listing can be removed, Clear Credit Solutions have removed thousands of defaults and negative listings. If we don't, it costs you nothing, because we give you a full refund if unsuccessful.

What is on my credit report?

Your report includes your name, address, employment history, date of birth, creditors who have viewed the report, late payments, defaults, judgments, clear-outs, crossed or linked files, name changes and bankruptcies.

Can I fix my credit file myself?

Yes, just as you can represent yourself in court. But unless you fully understand the legislation, you have one shot to get it right. The legislation is around 8000 pages long. If you are in hardship, financial counsellors and community centres can help at no fee.

Why can't you guarantee my default will be removed?

No honest organisation should guarantee a listing will be removed, as each case relies on many factors. The difference with us is our full refund guarantee: if we accept you, charge our fee, and fail to remove the listings we investigated, you get a full refund.
